We are both delighted and disheartened to announce the retirement of Partner, Dennis Elliott. Dennis’ leaving marks the end of an era for The Hansen Group. He has been with THG since 2014 but prior to his time at Hansen, he contributed his knowledge and expertise in many other roles within the industry.
He began his foodservice career at Robot Coupe in 1984. He joined Frymaster in 1999, moved into a Regional Sales position in 2002 and was promoted to VP of Sales in 2007. He was (and still is) considered the “Frymaster Guru” and traveled across country to train industry partners about all things fryers. He purchased RepsSouth in 2009 and later merged with The Hansen Group in 2014.
Dennis and his wife Toni are moving to their farm property in Maury County, TN nestled along the Duck River. Dennis has been an inspiration to us all and we are indebted to his commitment to THG. He will be sorely missed but we are thrilled for this exciting new chapter!
The Hansen Group has seen unbridled growth over the last six months. Since August 2021, we have expanded our team by eight employees and we are incredibly proud of this success. In the midst of this recent growth, along with Dennis’ retirement, we are pleased to announce Kristin Bishop as a Hansen Group Partner alongside Wayne and Dave.
Kristin started in the industry in 1995 in Sales and Marketing at Jackson Warewashing. She has been a manufacturers rep for the last 23 years. She joined RepsSouth in 2007 and later merged with THG in 2014. She has been instrumental in growing sales in middle Tennessee within the K-12, dealer and consultant markets. She has also been THG’s K-12 Director helping educate and drive sales throughout the territory.
The Hansen Group was established in 1957 and we are proud that Kristin is the first female Partner at THG. Please join us in welcoming Kristin in her new role!
