Dave is a proud Georgia native growing up in Stone Mountain, GA.  He went to college in Melbourne, FL at Brevard JC and Florida Tech where he played 4 years of baseball and received his degree in Business Management.  Dave’s career in foodservice began over 30 years ago managing Bennigan’s and building thousands and thousands of Monte Cristo sandwiches.  He then worked at Atlanta Fixture and PYA Monarch prior to joining The Hansen Group in 2004.   Dave credits his mentors and friends Cris Hansen, Phil Kenny and Wayne Jones for creating a vision and environment at THG that has allowed for unlimited opportunity to redefine foodservice equipment and supply representation.

Dave is the proud husband of 31 years to his wife Jane.  They have 2 beautiful and talented daughters, Kendall and Madison and 2 very lucky son in laws, Austin and Eric as well as their first granddaughter, Palmer Grace, who was born in July of 2024. Dave and Jane are also wonderful dog parents to two Burnese Mountain pups, Remi and Ruby.
